What do you use to figure this out?

The wiktionary is great when it has the full declensions of the words, but it didn't for saft. Google translate is pretty good because you can type in "a juice" and if it decides to give you "saft" you'll know. Lexinworks even better.

Are you talking about gender here? If so, Wiktionary does tell you by the 'c' next to the entry word (if it were neuter, it would be 'n').
