I lost my 92-day streak despite completing my daily goal everyday
On Monday morning, I received a daily reminder to complete my daily goal and reach 93 days. When I opened the Duolingo app on my iPad (I always practice on an iPad), it said that I didn't reach my goal the day before, and I could buy a streak repair if I wanted. I thought something must have went wrong because I was sure that I reached it, and didn't buy the streak repair.
The same thing happened two weeks ago when there was a general problem with Duolingo servers, and my streak was gone despite never missing a day, but thankfully it was restored. I thought other people must have the same problem again, and there are a few on this forum.
As you can see in the screenshot I added (I am practicing English from Turkish, so my homepage is in Turkish, but you can see the graph and the streak), I did complete my daily goal everyday for the last week, but somehow I only have a 4-day streak. The iPad app also displays that I reached my goal everyday.
Since Monday, I tweeted to Duolingo, and reported a bug, but I didn't get any answers or updates, so I'm hoping someone who can help me will see this post. Thanks!
I also lost my 34 day streak today. I was on the android app and met my daily goal yesterday. I checked the app again today and it did show that I was still on my 34th day for a while but after a couple of minutes it reverted back to zero. Since the beginning of Duolingo I haven't missed a single day. When I decided to do it on the app this time, I lost my streak despite reaching my daily goal. The app never showed me a message to regain or repair my streak either.
As far as I know, streak repair is an experimental feature on iOS. Well, I did not pay for it. I was 100% sure that I didn't miss a day, and I had gone through this two weeks ago, when my lost streak was restored later. So I'm hoping someone will look into it again.

On Sunday your public user profile shows for your language 0XP, so not any =10XP have been registered by the online server.
What stats / days is your picture? The week before?
No, they are from yesterday, you can see the date on the top right corner. I don't know why it would show that I didn't earn any XP.
I have the same thing happen to me several times. I try my best now to doit first thing in the morning and check it before 12 at night.I don't go my reminders But I think they can be helpful. you hate to fill like you have to screen shot every day for proof.. :-/ oh well I use another platform for my intense learning now and this one for a daily check in quickly to keep my personal streak of daily studying here intact. more than one source of practice is important .
Thanks for your input! After some server issues occurred two weeks ago, I tried to be very diligent, and checked if my progress was saved every day. I am also trying to diversify the platforms I practice, but I find the streak feature here to be very encouraging to keep going. This is why I posted this. Otherwise, I know that the main goal is to learn a new language.
Man I'm glad I'm not the only one who had these issues, I bought 2 freezes, and yes I did miss a day, but the freeze should have prevented me from losing the streak, it still didnt. But then it asked me to pay. 3.99 to repair the streak, which I did it was removed from my iTunes account, and still nothing my streak wasn't repaired, so i lost 2 freezes and $4 and it still didn't fix the streak. Please help me out
I'm sorry your streak freeze did not work. There few others like us on Twitter and on these forums, but since there is no direct way to contact Duolingo, I don't know if we will get anyone to restore our streaks. I know there are millions of users, but I still think it is a bit unfair that we write here hoping someone in charge to see our posts. I hope you can get a refund somehow. Best of luck!
I have had a streak loss issue a couple of times now. Usually I catch it, switch internet connections, and then do another course and it works. Sadly, I had a 248 day streak and now it's gone. Duo didn't register any of my lessons for the day and a streak fix didn't do anything, either. I can understand being frustrated, since I definitely am. It's been a week now and nothing. If anyone has discovered a new fix, I would love to know!
