no veo por qué no puede aceptarse: "Ella dice que verde es demasiado tradicional."

Eso mismo me pregunto. Yo pensaba que había alguna diferencia entre el VERY y el TOO.

Una cosa es "very"=muy. Y otra cosa es "too" =demasiado

Siempre he pronunciado y mis profesores: say /sei/ says /seis/. Aquí lo pronuncia más o menos: says /saiz/. ¿Cómo es correcto?

I could answer this as spoken in American English if my command of Spanish pronunciation were better, but let me try. "Say" (as in "I say stop!" or "you can say that" is pronounced "SA-" (a bit like the beginning of "ELL-a") and "I" (as in the beginning of "Ido")---"SE-I." The third person singular form, "says" is pronounced close to correctly here: "SA" an "e" sound like "E-cho") and ends with a "Z" sound. "Saiz" as you have it. So yes. The pronunciation here is close to correct. You are right to question it though. I'm a native speaker and some of these English sentences in Duo are incomprehensible to me. I get the ENGLISH wrong because words often are not pronounced right. Other sentences are fine. Duo does not seem to use a native English speaker. Most sentences are imperfectly spoken. It makes me worry about the Spanish in my English-to-Spanish work. The best thing is to make a friend of a native English speaker. That's what I am doing with some Mexican friends. Speaking with a native speaker is the only way to really learn a language.

Hi 4arthur! I am a native Spanish speaker and I agree with you about trying to practice what we learned in DL, either writing or speaking, specially speaking. I wrote to DL a "Carta Abierta" and I asked for a video chat, something simple, just for students of DL. A lot of people have agreed with this, but I think it is just a dream.Well, I hope you understand my basic English, I practice it with much pride and joy. Greetings! :)

This is EXCELLENT!!!! She speaks clearly and is obviously a native speaker (unlike many of the sentences spoken in Duolingo).
