'must' should also be correct
Must and have to are interchangeable.
In addition to must/have to, in English it is more natural to say "take notes" than "write notes."
In fact, writing and taking notes are different in American English. Taking notes during a lecture in class is usually encouraged, but writing notes to pass to a friend in class is forbidden.
“I must write many notes” was not accepted! Why? Why?
For "tôi phải viết", are both following translations correct:
- I must write, which is my proposal
- I have to write, which is yours
Aren't the both acceptable ?
Monitors, please adjust to accept both “must” and “have to” (and add “have got to” for good measure!).
I wrote "must" and was marked wrong.
