Traveling to France! <3

I need help! What are the French basics for when traveling to France? I'm from Canada so my French is different (take in mind I'm not fluent at all right now)! All I really need to know is what I should learn first and what I should expect when traveling to France! Anything really would help even if it's telling me how not to act XD, thanks in advance for helping me out if you do!!

You're so lucky to go to Europe, I've always wanted to! I'm nowhere near to being fluent either but I guess you should no the basics like saying hello and goodbye, asking for directions or the location of something, ordering food, and any other basic question/phrases that would be used in everyday life. Good luck and have fun in France!

That's really cool! This link has some good conversational type stuff! :-)

Also, yes the difference between Canadian French and France French is bigger than I thought. My family is French-Canadian and we live a few hours away the US-Canada border so I understand a little French (we go to Montreal sometimes so I get to practice my French there). A girl came to our school from France and didn't speak super good English, it was hard for us to communicate even in French because of the difference in language style (not sure what to call it!!!).

Hope the link helps!!! Have fun!!! :-) - SportsOcean
