Duolingo fun fact

Duolingo currently offers 21 differently languages (for english) for a grand total of 7,041. Divide 7,041 by 365 (the number of days in a year) and you come up with the number 19.29 (and some bits). This means that if you did around twenty lessons a day, every day for a year straight you would finish all of the current courses that Duolingo currently provides. Fun little fact for y'all

P.S: add me ;)

Slightly confused so asking for clarification:

"[...] a grand total of 7 041" what? From the context I'm assuming you mean lessons?

;) Did u do the math yourself?

I have a userscript which counts how many lessons there are and how much you've already done and it gives you a percentage and an "estimated completion date", i just took the numbers from there, added them up and then divided them.

I wonder who does 20 lessons a day... They must be either crazy or have incredible retention.

I once did 20 lessons a day for 1 week.

Meanwhile new languages will come out from the incubator. I'd suggest 22-25 a day :D

Hm? Really? All right...challenge accepted starting tomorrow, with Italian. French I'm already finished, but Italian is on! After Italian? German and Spanish.

I'm following a fairly similar approach. I'm starting with norwegian, then danish, swedish, german, dutch, so on and so forth until I complete everything
