An Italian podcast recommendation
I've recommended this podcast series a couple of times in comment threads, but I think it's good enough to be worth advertising in its own discussion -- particularly given the frequent complaints about Italian audio quality on Duolingo. A podcast like this one is a good supplement to Duolingo for getting a better understanding of pronunciation and intonation. It's aimed at learners of roughly A2/B1 standard, so it's spoken a little more slowly and clearly than average conversational Italian. The audio quality is excellent: it's a thoroughly professional production. The episodes are a convenient length (about 15 minutes) and there are plenty of them. The subject matter ranges across all kinds of things, and I usually find it interesting enough to hold my attention.
There are more podcasts (both in Italian and other languages) on the same website, and I'd expect them to be of similar quality, but this is the only series I've been listening to so far so it's the only one I can personally recommend.
Edit: as psionpete mentions below, they also provide a transcript of every episode!
Fantastiche, molte grazie.
They even give the transcript in italian, meraviglioso!
Love it so much! Thanks loads- if anyone knows any great all Spanish or all French podcasts please post!
Wow this is great! And perfect for Duoitalians: " Dalla finestra potevo vedere la torre del castello …" :D
Thank you so much. This is wonderful. Fits right in with my sessions in DuoLingo.
