Do progress quizzes increase proficiency?

I wonder if the progress quiz increases your language proficiency if you get, say, 5/5 correct. Not that I could afford it, so I can't test it myself, but I'd like to know.

I gotta give it to you man, I mean, what a great way to ask for Lingots and as for your question, yes it increases your proficiency chances but you gotta keep taking them from time to time, just to be better at your language. Good Luck and I hope that you get Lingots for the quiz.

I don't think so. But I could be mistaken. It's been a while since I took a quiz.

Don't expect too much to learn from it in the very beginning.

After 90 days I took the quiz the first time and scored 1.65/5.0.
The vocabulary is challenging, until they more and more show you the easier questions from the very first beginning.

e.g in the very first (complex) questions tenses are thrown into from the more down tree skills which you probably will NOT know at this time, if you have not learned the language before and/or you are at least pre-intermediate.

I wouldn't say it increases your proficiency but they are fun to do. The unfortunate thing is that you can't save your work/answers. I wouldn't waste any lingots at level 6 on doing the exam. You really want to be a little further along, otherwise it's just a lesson in frustration. Keep working, you'll earn a good stash of lingots and then you can do the progress quiz. Good luck!

It is an evaluation. Wait until you earn enough lingots to take the quiz, because you are not going to get 5/5 until you complete the tree. The test is over the entire tree.

Those quizzes are expensive, so I may wait until I have more Spanish proficiency to take one. Then again, if you have a long streak (which I don't), you get a fair amount of lingots every 10 days. Some people have 1200+ day streaks, and they are rewarded with 120+ lingots every 10 days. On a side note, that's enough to buy a streak freeze every day, making their streaks self-sustaining. And yes, the quiz is about the entire tree, so if I did one now, I would do poorly, with my 15% fluency.

Thank you guys for the lingots. I'll take the test soon. I didn't intend to sound like I wanted lingots, but thanks anyway.
