I am fluent in both languages but only score 3.6 on the test?!

I am fluent in both Dutch & English (native Dutch & did the Dutch for English speakers course just for fun, to see how I'd do). I tried the quiz and I found out I only scored 3.6/5!

I probably had a few questions wrong but really not THAT many. There is no way to compare your answers to the correct ones. I expected to score upwards of 4.5/5 for sure, this is just insane. no wonder I only scored 1/5 on my German test XD

Duolingo should allow us to review the quiz, to learn from it but also to improve the quiz! There are probably tons of alternative answers missing in the quiz parts right now as no one is able to comment on them.

It's computers - I scored 1% fluent in my native language on a reverse tree. (But that might be because I'm not American)

It's a progress quiz, so it tests you progress over the entire tree. Also it covers sentences etc. from the tree. So whatever questions you encountered people will have had plenty of opportunities to report alternative answers.

If you want to be able to review your answers I suggest you do a timed practice. Sure you don't get a 4.5/5 score or something like that, but it's quick and it's easy to see why your answer was rejected. Or if you want more time do a regular practice.

The thing is I don't want (or need) the practice I just wanted to see what I would score in a language I am native at, as I was dissapointed in my 1/5 score in German (which I am still learning). I think there are still many flaws in this test if a native speaker only scores 3.6/5.

Don't worry you are not the only one. I'm a native speaker of both Dutch AND English (I was raised bilingual, American mother Dutch father) and I didn't do Duolingo's little test very well either. xD Don't really know what's up with that.
