Today, we are going to learn about household items. From a toaster to bleach, here are some items in Cantonese we regularly use!
Item
toaster = 烤麵包機 (haau1 min6 baau1 gei1)
washing machine = 洗衣機 (sai2 ji1 gei1)
gloves = 手套 (sau2 tou3)
soap = 肥皂 (fei4 zou6)
stove = 爐 (lou4)
fridge = 冰箱 (bing1 soeng1)
toothpaste (and toothbrush) = 牙膏(和牙刷) (ngaa4 gou1 (wo4 ngaa4 caat3 ))
mirror = 鏡子 (geng3 zi2)
chair (and table) = 椅子(和桌子) (ji2 zi2 (wo4 coek3 zi2 ))
bleach = 漂白水 (piu1 baak6 seoi2)
