Is anybody else having this problem? for several months i've been getting notifications from responses to my comment, yet every time i click the notification it takes me to an error 404 page. I tried to find my original comment and can't find it, but if it actually didn't exist how could people still be responding to it?

Do comments disappear once they're a year old? does this link work for anybody else?

Some comments get removed if they are inappropriate or redundant.

Well comments dissapear when there are -5 votes on it or a mod deleted it. If a mod deleted it, they would have told u on your profile, so prob u got 5 downvotes

Even if a post has hundreds more downvotes than upvotes, the post is still visible if you follow a link to it; you don't get a 404 error.

A 404 error only happens if a post has been deleted by the moderators or the admins.

It be pretty much when a post/specific URL gets deleted.

It's annoying. I think it's because either it got downvoted or one of the moderators deleted it. What was it about?

Do you maybe happen to know the exact text of the title of it?

E.g. as an example, here in this comment is the title:

"response to comment = error 404"

So what was the old title used in the text at that URL https://www.duolingo.com/comment/12684970
