ESL Teacher needs English for Nepali Speakers for her classroom! And keyboards!

Hi! I teach ESL in a "highest poverty" district, and Duolingo is an inestimable resource us.I have some Nepali speakers that are missing out on the experience (their Hindi isn't good enough to benefit from the Hindi-to-English course). Any news on when Nepali-to-English will be available? I'm also having a problem with keyboards for kids who are trying to type in Hindi and Arabic. We use Chromebooks, and the process is painful. Any advice?

I don't think Duolingo is working on such a course =(. The Duolingo Incubator is the place to look for new courses =)

Have a look at the Guide to keyboard layouts and input methods on the Duolingo Wiki. There's nothing specific for Chromebooks, but I think it'll point you in the right direction.

Are you doing this formally for a school? or are you teaching private individuals?

A school should usually supply a course workbook but you would probably need to find your own if it is for private students.

English course for Nepali speakers is not being incubated at the moment, and even if one was started today, it would likely take many months, if not over a year, to be completed.
