I conquered the tree
After 91 days it finally happened: I conquered the tree. In between were many days in which I was busy with just keeping the tree golden, but now it is all done.
A couple of months ago I was really happy, relieved, and proud when I finished Spanish ( learned from scratch), whereas today it doesn't feel quite as great. Ok, it was mostly a refresher of something I used to know almost 30 years ago. Consequently I was able to test out on a lot of things - the exceptions being subjunctive and conditional and 2 or 3 other skills.
Now I will keep the tree golden (especially those subjunctives need a lot more practice), read "le petit prince" and get ready for a French conversation course I want to attend! Spanish has to wait for another couple of months. I can do only one language at a time - they are both too similar.
As usual I learned a few things about English (which is not my native language) as well... which annoyed me at times, but I reckon I better be glad for this added benefit!
After about two months, I've got 29 'branches' left to go, and it seems like a long road. (Sorry to mix metaphors.) Congratulations!
Yeah!! That was actually quite quick. It took me nearly a year to finish. Mangez un ligot.
well, it was not from scratch... there was some rusty foundation I was able to build on. ;)
