What is it?
Does Swahili uses latin script: There is no audio
Audio is coming later. See https://incubator.duolingo.com/courses/sw/en/status
RaizinM....when was your comment? Still no audio, Sept. 24, 2018
Once a upon a time it used Arabic script but these days it's only Latin
Oooh haha, all this time I thought my phone wasn't working, when there is actually no sound xD
How would you pronounce the double "m" in the sentence, "Mimi ni Mmericani"?
If there's no audio and I'm new to it, how am I supposed to know the correct pronunciation? I can recognize it in reading but i won't be able to speak it.
You can use forvo.com to look up the pronunciations individually while waiting for audio to be added here :)
shikamoo, marhabaa, jina lako ni tamu sana ... asante watoto
Hmm no audio
Yes, forvo helps a lot....You folks, need to be patient
I got this wrong even though my answer basically meant the same thing. I put "I am from Tanzania" as opposed to "I am Tanzanian" :-(
The direct translation to 'I am from Tanzania' would be 'Ninatoka Tanzania'.
Why is this one not capitalized like "Mkenya" or "Mholanzi?" Is it just a mistake?
