Ninasoma kiswahili thanks to Duolingo! :)
So in Swahili ''to study'' and ''to read'' are the same? XD
They're not that far removed concepts, though -- hard to do one without doing the other, at the least.
It's the same in Swedish ... and maybe also Turkish, but my brain is a bit scrambled.
Ninasoma...is it correct if i say : i m studying insead of i study?
Both are correct.
"I'm studying.". "I am studying." or "I study." although I haven't tested all three yet. Then also "I'm reading.", "I am reading." or "I read." so there could be six altogether, but I don't know if the contractions are accepted.
They never explain how these one word sentences are built! How the ❤❤❤❤ should i learn how to make them then?
Somehow others have managed to learn this through the course.
m- = you (plural, subject marker)
-na- = present tense
-soma = read
