Building Health

Hi Duo; I have been learning Spanish with Duo since last May. I finished my tree in November and have been in Mexico where I have been practicing my new skills since the new year. I am pleased with the improvements I have made in my Spanish using Duo so have recommended it to some fellow travelers. However their experience seems to be quite different than mine. It seems they are being asked to constantly repeat the same lessons or purchase "Health" in order to move on to the next skill. Has Duo changed?? Please explain what the process is as I hesitate to recommend the program until I understand what the change has been. Thanks Bev

There is ongoing A/B test of a new health system game mechanic. Some have it - some don't.

Thanks for your reply! Can you opt out of this test? It seems to hold up progress!

No, but you can create another account in the hope that you are placed in a different group. This involves starting again obviously.

Note that eventually the test will finish and based on the result I would expect that either everyone will continue with the current system or everyone will move to the new health system.
