Alpha Testing?

Hello!

I was wondering about Alpha Testing and how it works. I also have a couple of questions:

1) What is Alpha Testing?

2) What do Alpha Testers do?

3) How do you become an Alpha Tester?

4) Are there certain time requirements to be an Alpha Tester?

5) Do you have to know both languages to be an Alpha Tester?

I think that this is all of my questions for now, however I might reply to this if I have any more. Any responses and help is greatly appreciated. Happy learning and have a wonderful day everyone!

I believe Alpha testing is when the course isn't released yet, you can apply to be an alpha tester. They will do the course while the creators are making it, I believe. I think to apply you use the same application that you use to create a course. (I think that's the one on the incubator page). I have no idea if there are time requirements and i'm pretty sure you don't need to know both languages.

Just to add to what you have said.... It is important to note that not all courses have an alpha testing stage - or put out a call for alpha testers. It seems the course contributors decide if it is necessary.
