Finally, I have slain the French dragon!
In November 2013, I started a quest to conquer my French tree. Little did I know that the road to success would be long, hard and bumpy. Now after 4 years of blood, sweat, and heartache, I am proud to announce that I have completed this quest and mastered my tree!
Victory is mine and oh how sweet it feels! I'm basking in the warm light of success and enjoying all the spoils of warrrr!
I just want to thank Duolingo for being awesome and providing this platform for free!
Now I shall start new quests and pray that the journey is smoother and SHORTER lol.
P.s. I'm looking for some cool and active penpals to help me practice and improve my French. Any takers? :) .
Bonne Travail! J'espere faire le même chose un jour... Bonne chance a tuer plus de dragons bientot!
I hope that was all right, please correct me if I am wrong :)
Congratulations, you have finally slayed the evil French dragon! Have some macaroons! http://33.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_maomgojVgX1r4i14no1_500.gif
Félicitations ! Bien que ce ne soit pas facile, la joie du travail bien fait est la meilleure des récompenses !
Congratulations! Sounds like you had a tough, but very rewarding time!
Congratulations!! Good job. Enjoy your sweet victory (maybe with some french pastry).
congrats . you have crossed the line of sucsess what i mean by that is if there is a race you went trough falling and getting up and with all your training you made it and you came first.
Great job! Now all you have to do is the reverse tree! :P
If you want, I'd love to have a penpal, too! (I've done the English-French tree twice and the French-English one once, so I understand French pretty well.) Let me know what you think!
I would love that!
the reverse tree? Is that just going from the last lesson to the first? or is there an actual reverse tree?
It's what kat612831 said: the "reverse tree" is making the language you were learning into your source language, so the reverse of the English-French tree would be the French-English one. Thus, all the notes, settings, and original phrases are in French. The only thing with it is that you should turn off the speaking exercises since it's not very helpful. :P
Congratulation! I suspect that your tree is all gold now :) I try to do the same. First, I always make repetitions and then move on. I am on the last branch, but still there is a long way ahead of me.
