Duolingo stuck after finishing lesson
For several days now Duolingo does not complete a lesson. The "o" keeps spinning, but the program does not continue to the next lesson. Seems to random. Some older lessons allow me to redo, but other do not. Just finished six lessons without a problem and now seventh is stuck. Issue occurs in Chrome and Firefox, no proxy, nor firewall. Tried to logout and login. Did not resolve the issue. What can be done?
Issue seems resolved:
Adblocker is apparently an issue. Stopped using adblocker for .duolingo.com/ and issue is resolved (for now?).
Maybe there was an error in the Duolingo code? When the bug happens, [on Chrome] try pressing F12 and click on Console. Does it report any bugs in red? Also, I'm sure you've tried this, but leave it alone while you get a glass of water or something and see if it's just slow.
The for the F12 tip. Got following error: https://www.google.com/ads/ga-audiences?v=1&aip=1&t=sr&_r=4&tid=UA-21595814-1&cid=1603433197.1483978146&jid=522389050&_v=5.6.7&z=1325275884 Failed to load resource: net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT

That sounds like less-than-perfect internet access. Have you tried rebooting your router?
Actually, it was because he wasn't getting some data that was blocked by his ad blocker. So it's resolved now =)
Shouldn't you move this discussion to the troubleshootings forum? That is where people post discussions about certain problems or glitches.
Yes, just click Edit, then click Topic and select Troubleshooting from the drop-down menu.
Edit: The topic has been moved.
Internet Explorer is notorious for its unreliability and failure to conform to the protocols that make up the WWW. Switch to Chrome, and you'll be fine.
All an update on the issue. Issue is back. Adblock is off, but duolingo is stuck again. Yesterday I switched from Chrome to Firefox to finish the last lesson of Household in Spanish, but today the first lesson (Occupation) is stuck straight away. If I find another solution I will let you know.
Update: First lesson of occupation in Spanish did work in Chrome using an incognito tab, but second lesson is stuck there as well. Pressing F12 reveals following error: Uncaught (in promise) DOMException: The play() request was interrupted by a call to pause(). No clue what is means and if this is the issue, but very annoying that I cannot move forward.
Update 2: issue also in IE 11.
I am having a similar problem with the French lessons, I complete a lesson and it tells me I am done but then its not moving forward to the next lesson. I have tried repeating the lesson but it is still stuck
I am using IE on a laptop and for the last two days I'm having trouble progressing to the next lesson; keeps sending me back to the just completed lesson. Today it seems worse because I am not getting credit toward my daily total either.
I don't know what to do but maybe you can ask one of the admins or moderators for help.
No, that's no how it works. The admins' job is to run the site, and the moderators' job is to help run the forums. MarcelShaap has posted his question in the right place already.
