What is the sound of "γγ"?
It's a "ng" or a "g".
Please tell me more about the size of the cucumber ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Also I'm assuming its pronunciation leads to a lot of wordplay with αγγούρι/αγόρι
Not really, the pronunciation isn't that similar, so no wordplays available.
It sounds exactly like αγόρι, so we should report an audio problem? I'd like to know the difference in pronunciation
It sounds ok in the web version. In case you used the app and it does sound incorrect, you can submit a bug report here.
So if I'm in a Greek restaurant, it seems I've got to be very careful or I can accidentally order my salad with boys?
Is it me or does αγγούρι sound very similar to αγόρι?
It's you, angouri - cucumber; agori - boy. I've made worse mistakes though. I used to confuse kounoupi - mosquito and kounoupidi - cauliflower LOL.
Are contractions not accepted? I wrote "the cucumber's not small" and it got rejected. I also reported it.
By the way, thanks a lot to the mods for the great job you do here!!! Thanks to your work, this is a fantastic place to learn.
