Request for Mod: Can't acces the "Cyrillic to Latin" switch and "Tips and Notes" anymore.
Dear Discussion forum,
Since a week I can't acces the "Cyrillic to Latin" switch and "Tips and Notes" anymore when I'm learning Russian. I've checked if it was still there with Ukrainian but there it was also gone. This means I can only learn in Cyrillic now, and I do not understand that. I can acces "Tips and Notes" in the startmenu (where you select your lesson), but during the lesson, the bar above with the "Cyrillic to Latin" switch and "Tips and Notes" isn't there anymore.
I'm using Duolingo in Chrome on a Mac.
Does someone have this problem too? And can someone say what's the problem (preferably someone from the Duolingo Team, if that isn't to much asked)?
I hope this explains my problem enough.
If this is an test update (a update for a small section of Duolingo-users) please remove it from my account. further I would recommend not to implement it into the final update because it really sucks.
Feel free to leave a comment (also if you have the same problem).
Thanks in advance, A happy Duolingo-user
In Russian (Chrome on Microsoft Windows 7) I have no Cyrillic keyboard at all.
In other languages (e.g. Ukrainian) there is.
I guess it is a bug, so file a bug report in the help of Duolingo.
So my workaround at the moment is to use the Russian Lexilogos keyboard on the right of my screen in a browser and Duolingo on the left in a browser, and then copy/paste.
Q. How to file a bug report in Duolingo?
1) Open a browser (e.g. Google Chrome)
2) Click on your user icon in the top right
3) Select from list 'Help'
4) Scroll down to button 'Submit bug report'
5) Supply the data
Type of issue (Click to select one...)
6) Click button 'Submit'
So has this feature just been removed entirely from Duolingo? I enjoyed the transliteration so much and was raring to see it come into play on other incubating languages like japanese and korean.
