Podcast or Pandora Channel to assist?

I have been using duolingo for several months now and I am getting pretty good at being able to see a sentence or word and translating it but I am not that great at being able to hear spanish and understanding it. Are any of you subscribing to podcast or is that a pandora channel for beginner spanish you can recommend? I am just trying to augment my duolingo with more audio. Thanks for your recommendations.

News in Slow Spanish is your friend! You can subscribe to their podcast or listen on their website. They have a new podcast every week. Each podcast has current news articles, notes on grammar, and some culture. The podcast is free but if you want to pay some money you have access to transcripts and flashcards too. They speak very clearly and slowly, and repeat numbers so you have time to visualize them in your mind.

Edit: It looks like it is no longer free but they do allow a one month trial subscription at no charge.

Oh for pity's sake. I visited the iTunes store and was allowed to subscribe at no charge. So either their website and their iTunes presence are at odds or I glanced too quickly at the website and didn't grasp what they are charging for. At any rate, it's a delightful podcast and they cover current topics clearly and slowly.

Oh, it looks like it's available as a mobile app now, too. Not sure how helpful these links will be; I personally would just search the app store or Google play.

I just started it, I don't think I'm quite ready yet. Slow though it may be, it's way ahead of where I am, LOL. It's a great link for later, though.

Sharkmom, you can get written transcripts that make it a lot easier to understand what they are saying, but that costs $$. I'm glad you tried it out and posted your feedback.
