Tinycards is now available in your web browser - create your own flashcards
The Duolingo Flash card app, Tinycards, is now available in your web browser. From what I can see, you can publish any decks that you create, so if anyone wants to create flash cards for Irregular verbs, or Numbers, or different dialect usages, or any category that you think might be useful to supplement the existing Duolingo skills, post a link here.
I enjoyed your counting deck (though I'd usually go for muc amháin for "one pig", and I'd translate aon mhuc amháin as "a single pig", but aon mhuc amháin does fit the pattern better).
The mythology deck isn't for me, but that's not a criticism :-)
I tried out a few of the irish ones and the spelling as gaeilge is different to the Duo spelling in some cases e.g. girl-cailinn, boy - buachill and labhraím is different as well,. I thanked them, withdrew and went back to my dear old DUO.
Anyone can make a set of Tinycards, even if they don't have a clue what they're on about, unfortunately, so the ones you stumbled across weren't using "different spellings", they were just wrong.
I'm not sure if there is a feedback mechanism available, but hopefully we can get a list here of decks that are actually useful.
