Signing in to old Duolingo
I used Duolingo a while back and recently re-installed it on a new device. When I try to use my old profile to track my progress, it says the email is already taken. How do I get the new version to accept me. I tried logging in at Duolingo.com; it allows me to do so, it doesn't allow me to pick up in my current version. I wrote feedback, but got no answer, What do I have to do?

If it says the email is already taken, then you are trying to start a new account, not log in to an existing account. Here's what the login screen looks like on an iPhone; you want the bottom blue button that says "I already have an account", not the top white button that says "Start":
