Has the Dutch course been updated or added to?

I say this, because when I was strengthening Abstract 2 I saw many, many sentences I had never seen before, some were actually challenging too. I'm not saying this is bad, but I'd just like to know if the course has been added to.

A Tree Version 2.0 has been in the works for a while, and is supposed to be released soon (can't wait!). I think before Duolingo releases things it goes to a testing phase where only some of the people have it for a little bit. Do you think it could be that?

I'm not sure, as I've only been on here to keep my streak up for the past fews days; i.e. strengthen a skill then get off Duolingo. So I can't be sure.

Are you certain that you were getting new words?

Not necessarily new words, but new sentences such as: Van Nederland verliezen is een traditie in Ierland

Hmm. I don't seem to recall that sentence. Any other ones that seemed different?

Well if a course contributor comes around, I'm sure they can explain it.

Now that you mention it, I remember seeing a comment recently, I think it was from one of the Dutch course moderators, in an unrelated discussion post, that a new Dutch tree was coming soon. Ze hebben het dus gedaan!

I restarted the tree after having completed about half of it over a year ago. The first time there were a couple of units I found very tedious that, thankfully and mercifully, I have not come across this time.

(One of them had to do with constantly writing out different countries where people were from, which seemed like a lot of work for such a negligible payoff; the other was having to repeat and repeat how weak you are-- negative self programming I did not appreciate. Come to think of it, this time there wasn't the oft required statement that 'your names are William and Rose.' And Saskia hasn't been around as much...) Yes- there appear to be modifications for the (extreme) better!

PS- The strengthening exercises often do offer new and slightly more challenging sentences than the units themselves...

Duolingo doesn't show all sentences in a skill, not even all the words in a skill, when you first time do it. You need to strengthen the skill once or more to see all the content in that skill.

If you don't do reviews, you're going to skip on vocabulary that is there waiting for you on Duolingo.
