There's gold in them there skills

I finally, after many weeks of strengthening, got my whole tree gold! I understand it won't last long, but being level 20 with a complete spanish tree in ALL GOLD is very satisfying. Comment if you have a gold story, or just agree that the struggle is REAL. :D

I seem to be spending an hour or more every day keeping my French tree gold, I still have 19 nodes to go before it is complete. So congratulations on your perseverance!

I keep my tree gold before I make o progress to the next skill. That means that there are days that I don't proceed at all.

I'm level 13 and I have 51 skills to complete the german tree.

Should I ignore strengthenins and just proceed?

That's what I do, I think it works. The algorithm knows when you are solid on a skill - some of my skills don't decay for weeks at a time, because whenever they do decay a bit I ace them on timed practice. If your skills are still decaying a lot, it means you haven't mastered them, so more practice is a good idea.

For some reason if you leave skills for a while (at least a week) and then do well on them when you strengthen, it has much more effect. I guess the algorithm thinks if you still remember it after a long time then you must know it really well. So although it sounds like the opposite of what you should do, try not strengthening all of them every day, and you might find you have less work in the long run.
