I am officially confused. I got the question wrong when it was mom...I got the word order wrong. Mama asante was the correct answer there, but but Juma asante is wrong here.

How exactly am I supposed to thank someone?!

The word order shouldn't matter and I believe that this has been fixed. It's like saying, "thanks, mom" or "mom, thanks."

I saw the spelling of ASANTE with "h" like AHSANTE. Is it wrong?

When do I use "asante", and when "marahaba"?

You use asante when saying thank you

You say marahaba when someone younger than you says "Shikamoo." asante expresses gratitude.

Just a note: I hear Kenyans say Asanti rather than Asante.
