Antall, Tall og Nummer

I noticed the word tall means number along with antall and nummer. How might these words differ in use?

Tall is the generic word for number, which is used when discussing mathematics (e.g imaginære tall, 20 er et større tall enn 10).

Nummer tend to be used in contexts where order is of significance, e.g. number 4 in line. Also house numbers, phone numbers, postal codes etc.

Antall usually translates to "number of" or "amount" as mentioned, e.g. antall dager i en måned = "number of days in a month", et ukjent antall = "an unknown amount".
