I finished the Russian tree!
Я закончил русское дерево! Boring news to people who don't know me, I'm sure, but I'm proud. Tomorrow, off to reading children's stories in Russian with Memrise.
Congratulations! You have my respect. I'm only 3/4 of the way there and it's definitely been a big challenge. I find I have to redo lessons more frequently just to have the vocabulary stick.
Reading children's stories should definitely help the learned words stick while enabling you to steadily learn new words.
Best of luck!
Теперь я говорю плохо по-русски. :) Thanks for the encouragement, everyone. SDPhil, I can't get an exact link as I'm posting from a phone, but they're at www.memrise.com, in the Russian section, Intermediate Russian-Bookbox Stories. Mr_Nickstar, thanks for the kind words, and I will try Pushkin and Lermonotov.
Congratulations! I finished mine a few weeks ago... Do you mind sharing the links for some of the stories you're reading?
It's so cool. In my opinion you're very motivated person, because Russian is one of the most difficult languages in the World. I recommend you to read Pushkin's poems and Lermonotov's poems. If you're going to try to learn Russian, You'll easy learn Russian. Good luck and trust in yourself:)
