Paid £3.99 to restore 195 day streak, nothing has happened, streak showing 1
I lost my 195 day streak earlier in the week despite having a streak freeze applied. When I opened the app today I was offered the chance to restore it for £3.99.
I've used the app a lot so I was happy to pay, however the streak hasn't been restored. I feel a bit cheated. Has this happened to anyone else?
I think somebody or possibly several other people have experienced the same problem, at least I remember seeing a post about it a while ago. Maybe it takes a day or more for your streak to be restored? You may want to put your post in the Troubleshooting section in order to give it more attention. You don't need to write a whole new post, you click on 'edit' at the bottom of your original post and change the topic to Troubleshooting. I hope your streak will be restored!
Thanks. My streak is actually now showing 3 as I completed yesterday and today, but that's still somewhat short of 195!

I also lost my 156 day streak this past week with the streak freeze in place. I too was offered to restore for USD 9.99 but would rather Duolingo correct the error. Trying to figure out how to go about doing so...
Yesterday I paid $10.99 usd to have streak restored. ITunes shows that the payment was made but the streak was not restored.
Not happy at all. I logged in for my lessons yesterday and my 228 day streak is gone. Instead I get the option to buy it back for nearly £10! Wtf is that all about. I always have streak protection in place. Even though there was no reason for it to be used. And Duolingo provides no where for the issue to be corrected. Nice one.
