This really looks more to me like "We went to Kenya for a wedding."
Yeah. I feel like it should be "tulikwenda harusi Kenya" to be the most direct translation from that english sentence...
"Tulikwenda" is "we went", of course. To attend in this context is "ku-hudhuria", also to participate, to be present, and not to be confused with "ku-hudumu, ku-hudumia", to serve, to attend, to wait on.
"Tulihudhuria sherehe ya harusi Kenya" Is a better translation
"Kwenye" should be "because of" then?
