I Couldn't heard the first word

Why is "She reads a book" suddenly wrong? In many other cases DL doesn't use the gerund at all, though the activities have a extension in time.

I think it depends on whether or not she owns said thing. Not sure though.

is there anyone else who doesn't hear the k in "bok"? To me it just sounds like "bo" no matter if I play the slower or the normal one....
