Shouldn't it be "Voglio lasciare la mia fidanzata" ? or we can omit "mia" ?

There are a few relations where the possessive can be implied, although it works best with the third persons: "ha litigato con la moglie" (he had an argument with his wife). I wouldn't use it with the first person tbh.
