"Is he British or Scottish?"
Translation:El este britanic sau scoțian?
Guys, Scotland is part of Britain so this question makes no sense. It's like asking whether you're Romanian or Transylvanian.
True... But remember that Scotland is part of Great British... Probably, with british, they are distinguishing a person from another region than Scotlan.
In some way, your example would be good... When you want to know if a person is from Transylvania or from another romanian region.
Actually we have a debate about Andy Murray all the time - if he does well the English will say he is British and if he does badly they say he is Scottish! I'm English and British. BTW Another tip - we always capitalise nations, languages and nationalities. DL doesn't seem to care.
