There is a difference extremely tenuous among the sounds of the words - Måtte, Matte, Mote, Møte... At least for me... Heck yes, I'll certainly have to listen to them until my ears are bleeding!

I find it helpful to type them into Google translate (with their respective indefinite articles) in order listen to them one immediately following the other. :0)
