A very unnatural way of saying 'Esther's blouse is nice' in English.

I said "good" instead of "nice" and it marked me wrong

"nzuri" could also work for "pretty" within this context.

Why is it incorrect to say "The blouse of Esther is beautiful?"

N/N class

blauzi yangu - my blouse

blauzi zangu - my blouses

blauzi ya Esther - Esther's blouse

blauzi za Esther - Esther's blouses

Why can I say Esther's blouse is nice, but I can't say Esther's blouse is good?

Why is "the blouze" considered wrong?

Because it's spelt "blouse" :)

Why can I say Esther's blouse is beautiful, but I can't say Esther's blouse is pretty?

Nzuri has many meanings. One of them is good.

How can "Esther's blouse is good." be marked wrong? "Good" is often offered and accepted as a correct translation of nzuri, even in the context of clothing. Is this a glitch, or is there a subtlety to the definition of "-zuri" that I don't get?
