Temperatura zwiększyła się

A polish friend of mine told me, that this sentence sounds unnatural to him. Poles would rather say: "Temperatura wzrosła".

What do you think?

Both are correct. However the the latter is more popular. In Google search: 1k vs 22k. One may also say: „Zrobiło się cieplej”/„Ociepliło się” - It became warmer - but it is not always possible, only when we mean weather and temperature outside.

I agree. Temperatura rośnie, or wzrasta.

Temperature is like a leaf on a wind. Raise (rośnie, wzrasta) and fall (spada, opada)
