The course clearly says this will be taught in some skill in the future, but I keep making mistakes in my current learning curve not knowing the distinction between the two... Why are there different forms of these pronouns, and when to use each?

Also often you can use them both. Only if it is a type what you hear exercise only one will be accepted, due to the difference in pronunciation.

Yes, thanks! I've only just started with Dutch, and at this point I sort of have trouble -hearing- the difference between those two... But yes, the type-what-you-hear is what gives me that trouble. :D
