Taithí doesn’t seem to be used for countable experiences; it seems to be used only in an uncountable sense of “experience”, similar to how “knowledge” is used in English. “A good experience” might be translated by eachtra mhaith or eispéireas maith instead.

I can't hear the 'v' sound at all at the start of 'bhí' , am i going mad altogether? :)
