Duolingo

Hi, i'm new to Duolingo, and I was just wondering, is it possible to finish a language, or does it practically "never end"? And if it is possible to finish a language, can you move onto a different language, or is Duolingo just over for you? Also, I have no activity bar, why is this? Thanx! :)

Within the limits of Duolingo - yes you can complete a language tree which should take you to a good level. In reality, no you can never ever completely finish a language. You can study as many languages as you like at once.

I think it is possible to finish a language, but after that I think you just keep practicing the language. Also, you can learn more than one language at a time. Duolingo is never'over' for you. Anyway, good luck and I hope you enjoy Duolingo!

Indeed, you can never stop having fun on Duolingo! You can find a list of languages that Duolingo has here. There are quite a few, as you can see.

Some of the courses are still being developed. Those that are not in the list above can be found in the Incubator.

Hi, welcome. It's possible to finish a language (I finished Spanish and French). There's no limit to how many languages you can learn on Duolingo so after you finish a language you can keep practicing :)

First of all, welcome to duolingo family. We can finish the language tree but we need to keep on practicing. No one can learn any language completely. You can never stop having fun in duolingo. You can learn as many languages as you can and duolingo is working on adding new languages. I have seen people with more than 1500 days of streaks. It means they haven't taken a break from 1500+ days. Add friends, interact in the discussions, that will help you in maintaining the interest and you can have a long streak too. All the best
