What is your best word in french?
Mine is pomme!
J'aime le mot "chou". Le mot est le nom d'un legume (cabbage en anglais), mais aussi on peut emploi ce mot dans les expressions idiomatiques. Par exemple: "C'est bete comme chou", ou "mon petit chou"!
Oh, that's a very nice word then. Now I'm wondering about its etymology.
Hey, were you the one a while back looking for people to have an online class/tutoring session with? Did you end up doing it? How was it? Are you still doing it?
If you were talking to me, I'm not doing (and have never done) any type of online tutoring of the sort... Maybe it was someone else.
It's more like to grow happy than to make someone happy.
Ça dépend de la façon dont on l'utilise. Par exemple, si j'épanouis, certes, ceci veut dire que je deviens heureux, cependant, si "je t'épanouis," je te rends heureux.
Donc quelqu'un peut s'épanouir en l'épanouissant ! xD
J'aime pommes aussi, mais je ne mange pommes personne. Parce que mon accolades. :(
Some users here do even more. I don't really started the language when I got level 2, but my goal is to finish all the Duo trees at least once.
Mine is "noir". It just has that detective and grey feeling you see in films when it's really the color black! Every time I think of french words, "noir" comes up in my head the most!
Aucun Because it would be quite in appropriate for me to write my real fav word lol
To: sophieballenton Why is your favorite word apple? Anyways, my favorite is joli, which is pretty in French.
My favorite word it french well....Panda rouge and chenille. They are both really weird.
Actually, it isn't the longest french word. It's the longest in the common dictionnary but you can find longer words in chemestry or psychology domains.
Favorite word in French? cacahuètes (peanuts)!
I also always liked chouette (cool, may be spelling it wrong), d'accord (ok), and genial (nice/awesome). It seemed like I could always respond with one of these if I wasn't exactly sure what had been said and it would work fine in almost any situation.
