Strength bars, how do they work??
Yesterday before I quit I made sure every single strength bar was either 4 or 5, now I log on today and all but a few are at either 2 or 1, including ones I worked on yesterday!! How the heck are you supposed to keep the strength bars up when they decay like that, I would be spending hours and hours keeping them up.....
Could you relocate this discussion in the “Troubleshooting" forum? Which is the place meant for such discussion. Thx!

To quote the moderator jrikhal: "Let's "regroup" all reports about the recent (less than 24 hours apparently) bug with strengthening, in this discussion which is [seems to be] the oldest one about this subject in the Troubleshooting forum. https://www.duolingo.com/comment/22206131

As there have just recently been many posts along the same lines, it looks like this is a temporary bug.
There is some kind of a glitch, mine is the same way and I've never had this problem before. Also check the recent posts. Many other people are have the same problems.
Personally, I don't depend too much on keeping my strength bars golden. Some advice I would say is to make sure every one is at least golden and try reviewing your skills by clicking Words beside the Home button. That will help you keep your words at max pronunciation and memorization and may help keep your skills golden. I would prefer to stay active more than often if you want your skills to stay golden. -Wafinator
And as estidianteMTI3 and SemperDoctrina said, it may be a bug that many people are having issues with.
Ok shew, thanks. I was seriously considering giving up when I saw my home page today...
