who wants to help each other out with learning french?
I am brand new at this .. i have a 6 month old grandaughter who will be bilingual as my daugher married a french man.. this is why I am learning french!!
I'm on lesson 2 well i finished it, but i have a little trouble with pronouncing my R's...
Don't you worry... I'm 5 subjects away from finishing the entire course, and I still am COMPLETELY unable to pronounce French Rs.
I found this helpful website that said this: 1.)open your mouth. 2.)Close your throat as if you're going to gargle or to avoid swallowing a 3.)mouthful of liquid, and say K carefully, several times. so like... for example if your trying to pronounce the word tres you pronounce it like THCRAY. Once you get that then pat yourself on the back because you've broken a french wall!
Can anyone tell me which skill to give first priority for (speaking, reading, listening or writing)?Coz am a bit confused.
