Mistakes in the translation

Has anyone else noticed that there were minor mistakes in the translation in their lessons? I'm not referring to a typo but the wrong word used. It's only happened a few times but in any case still odd.

Hi Jason839825,

Could you relocate this discussion in the “Troubleshooting" forum? Which is the place meant for such discussion. Thx!
To relocate it (\/!\ please, don’t create a new one \/!\), edit your original post then select said forum in the drop-down menu on top-left of the edition area (see here for details).

Have a look to this short guide to help you knowing where to post your (future) discussions on Duolingo’s forums.

Would you have some examples for which you could share

  • a screenshot
  • the type of lesson (normal one, strengthening skill, timed strengthening skill, strengthening tree, timed strengthening tree)
  • the type of exercise (write in source language the translation of what you read in target language, write in target language the translation of what you read in source language, write what you hear, ...)

?

It happens to me too.

Like.. I typed "That is not a dog." for my answer and it said my answer was wrong, it should be... "That is no dog." from a German lesson.. "Das ist kein Hund." if I could remember.
