"I like the red boat more than the blue one."
Translation:Eu gosto mais do barco vermelho do que do barco azul.
eu gosto do barco vermelho mais que o barco azul. Can I omit the second"do"????
Yep. When using a comparasion, you can decide whether or not use "do" in any situation.
Could someone help me with my sentence order? I wrote: "Eu gosto do barco vermelho mais do que o azul" I'm wondering if that sort of sentence order is incorrect, or maybe its because I used wrong grammar? I'm not sure. I was contemplating on writing "Eu gosto mais do barco vermelho do que o azul" first, but then changed my mind...would that be incorrect as well?
Both are correct, but the second one is more used in portuguese
Ok thanks! =) I should have hit the report button then when I had the chance. Ah well!
Someone did. It accepted my translation, which was exactly the same as yours.
