Duolingo should add the language Finnish

I think Duolingo should add Finnish, because Sauna's were invented there, and if you were to visit, not a lot of websites would properly teach you this language.

The "weather" section should be all sunny.

Did you make this? It should be Duolingo's official flag.

Welcome to Duolingo.

(There are and have been for several years an absurd number of requests for Finnish, including a complete course already made off-site, but the all-powerful owl has yet to add it.)

Can somebody explain to me why Finnish is relatively popular?

The only reason I can think of is because it's one of the main missing European languages? But even by that reasoning Azerbaijani, Hungarian, Serbian, Bulgarian, Armenian and Croatian should be more popular. (which they're not) Czech, which is in the incubator also isn't as popular as far as I know. Thus, some explanation plz?

I think the language enthusiasts that contribute to these discussions are also curious about the notorious Finnish grammar and want to take on the challenge.

In the meantime, I found this course on Memrise (with audio):

https://www.memrise.com/course/428629/from-start-to-finnish-19/

This is a Duolingo-style course with full sentences and lessons that cover grammar points.
