What is this supposed to mean? I've never heard an English speaker use this syntax.

It's a simple list. 'People who come to my party: you, my mother, your parents'. But I agree: not much to learn from this ;-)

its just a list of people who are perhaps doing something together, or perhaps have something else in common, basically what wataya said.
