X-system Capital letters

Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I've been using the x-system in the course, and every time the answer starts with an accented letter, it marks it wrong. So, for example "Cxu la persono estas malbona" is marked as "Almost correct!" and I don't make any progress on the progress bar. This has happened several times.

Is "Cxu" incorrect? Or should the system accept this as a correct answer?

Have you tried CX, rather than Cx? Personally I made a keyboard layout that includes all the letters I need, for me it was worth the (minimal) effort.

Yes, I've tried both, both are marked the same way, "almost correct!" which means that the progress bar doesn't move.

I went and checked, and the progress bar seems to move just fine even on an "almost correct" answer. This has been the case for me as far as I can remember. Regardless of language too. Are you studying on an app or through a browser? Perhaps there's a difference.

Either way, "Cxu" is not incorrect, as it's been specifically mentioned to be the preferred plan B for those you cannot / do not want to use the proper alphabet. That said, it's not completely correct either (as it is a plan B), which is why the system says "Almost correct!" (and in fact, simply leaving the x out produces the same result, in my experience).

In fact, Duolingo says in the first unit that the X-system is accepted as correct. I've also seen that sometimes Duo sees these right answers as almost right - for me it's never been a problem, because the progress bar has always moved anyway, both in the app and the browser versions. If ampaxx's progress bar is stopped, then something is really wrong.

Like some others, my experience was (and is) that the progress bar moves just fine with the "almost correct" correction. I am pretty lazy and I ignore capitalization and punctuation. Doesn't seem to affect anything!

    "Cxu" is perfectly fine.
