Duolingo glitch

This glitch started today and has happened several times with different languages. When I start a lesson normally the bar at the top progressively fills up with green to show that you've got correct answers or decreases with a wrong answer, anyway at some point you complete the bar and you've completed the lesson and unlocked the next however what is happening is that the bar never fills up with green no matter how many answers are correctly answered so the lesson never ends and I therefore cannot make progress on my lessons. Please help duo :) thanks

I get the same on my iPad but the lesson/practice session does end, I just can't see my progression.

The same was true for me. I did get credit for finishing the lesson even though the progress bar didn't update. Also another thread that is linked below said that you just need to install the update that was released today. I did the update and it seems to be working.

My experience today on an iPhone (iOS 10, Duolingo 5.0.19 which updated today) is that the progress bar never shows any green, but you do actually make progress and can finish the lessons. (I successfully did practice sessions in each of Spanish, French, German, & Swedish.)

It seems to take longer to finish each lesson. I'm not sure if that's due to the uncertainty of not seeing your progress reflected, or if they made the lessons longer.

So use patience and you should be able to get through your lessons, albeit without the positive reinforcement of the green line.

This is happening to me too, because of it and I can't unlock the next lesson or refresh skills and I lost my streak :(

I was studying Spanish, Norwegian, and Hungarian. Within the last month, I've had to delete the latter two languages because the program would keep switching me to Norwegian or Hungarian when studying Spanish. Or it would show the Norwegian alphabet for me to use in my Spanish answers.
