This is my first foray into Swahili so all the vocabulary is unfamiliar to me!

In trying to remember "asubuhi" for morning, I've come up with "a sun boo here" which I visualise as a sunshine popping up from behind the horizon and saying 'boo', i.e. sunrise, i.e. morning. Hope this helps someone else to remember! :)

Does this mean just morning, or is it meant as a phrase like good morning?
